Description

Two official Yankees Magazine issues (Vol. 35, Issue 7) from Derek Jeter’s farewell season. September 25, 2014 Special Commemorative Cover, “Captain’s Last Stand.” This cover was issued for Jeter’s final game at Yankee Stadium, the night he ended his home career with a walk-off single against the Orioles. It’s one of the most memorable final games in Yankees history. “All Our Yesterdays” regular-edition cover from the same issue. It has a striking pinstriped portrait of Jeter and the same Jeter-focused content, including features on his early years, his time in the minors, the Turn 2 Foundation, and his final All-Star Game.
