1960 World Series Official Program – New York Yankees vs. Pittsburgh Pirates (Yankee Stadium Edition)

Description

Official Yankees-issued program from the 1960 World Series, one of the most dramatic Fall Classics ever played. The Yankees outscored Pittsburgh 55–27 and won three games by blowouts, yet lost the Series when Bill Mazeroski hit his walk-off home run in Game 7, still the only Game 7 walk-off homer in World Series history. The cover features a full-color Yankees team photo with Mickey Mantle, Roger Maris in his first MVP season in pinstripes, Yogi Berra, Whitey Ford, Elston Howard, and manager Casey Stengel in what proved to be his final season managing the Yankees. Condition shows honest age and use: creasing and wear along the top edge, a vertical fold line through the center of the cover, spine and edge wear, and corner rounding. Colors remain bright.
